I woke this morning for my 11:45 AM flight and took my time. I had to catch the shuttle bus just after 10.
I went downstairs and caught the bus and soon was at the airport. I joined the line about 3 back and it was taking forever. What was the problem? After standing there for about 30 minutes I arrived at the agent and found my flight was delayed 2+ hours because of a work to rule campaign. Great get my luggage checked and pull out the GPS and go caching around the airport.
There are 3 caches within waling distance of the terminal.
I headed out to do two traditional caches and one Earthcache. Whitehorse has one of the most unique weather vanes in the world, an old DC3.

Once these weer done I slowly walked back to the terminal to find my flight delayed a further 45 minutes.
The flight finally came in and only 1 passenger got off the Canadair Regional jet. This would mean would be boarding right away. During the flight we could drink for free on the ride south as compensation for the flight being late.
Over all it was a great trip. I did miss driving the Dempster and Dawson City.
