Cache Clean-up Day

Today was to be a cache clan-up day in South Delta, at least that was the plan for the day. The problem was it didn’t end up as I had planned. Since I was in South Delta I had heard that there were many Snowy Owls on the dike south of the Boundary Bay Airport. These Owls have come south from Alaska due to lack of food in Alaska.
With my interest in birds it would be a good start for the day. The only problem is a spent several hours there and got cold and caching from there ended.

Snowy Owl

As you can see it is a great site.

Since I didn’t do any physical caches I went home and did two Earthcaches.

On some recent trips I did two Earthcaches but have not completed the information and log the caches. One was from my recent trip to the Mojave Desert in California with Rumrunner1 included this cache in Nipton California.

On my trip in September I hiked to a cache called Conair @ Stoyoma cache. That weekend there was a new Earthcache that came out at this site. I have now completed it today and will submit it.

It wasn’t a lost day in the end. Another great day out.
