Fort George overlooking ships
Today we arrived and decided to head off the ship and up to Fort George where we did a Earthcache called St. Georges Harbour.
After we completed the cache we headed inside after paying our $2.00 to get in and take a look.
Inside is the location where Prime Minister Maurice Bishop and his Cabinet were shot in this Fort on October 19th 1983. I remember when this happened and now I was standing where it happened.
This is now a plaque on the wall where this took place.
We manged to only get one cache today as some Islands the caches are few and far between.
