Rumrunner1 and I decided that we would meet at the lower parking lot and I would leave my car there and then take his truck to the top where we would start the hike.
We started off with two caches and then there was Kermits House which we spent a considerable amount of time at and turned out to be a DNF for us.
On we went and the trail itself is a old railway bed which means it isn’t that steep. There are places however that require some climbing to get around ares where the railway bed is no longer there.
We manged 29 caches today with 3 DNF’s. A great day to hike Hayward Lake.
