Today I would start my trip north again.<\/p>\n

The first stop was a cache called Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight<\/a> that we didn’t stop at coming south because it was getting dark.<\/p>\n

I have to say I started to look for the cache then an Ambulance arrived along with a Firetruck and there they sat for over 20 minutes a short distance away. I tried to look for this cache but had no success. I hate to DNF it but lets say it is one of the better DNF’s I have had.<\/p>\n

From here I head up to do the Christmas Series near and in the Kofa Wildlife Refuge <\/a>.
\nI have to say this has some real contrasts as you go farther into it.<\/p>\n

In the photo above there are caves that used to be open to the public but are now closed.<\/p>\n

From this area I head to do a cache called Mountain Goat Country<\/a><\/p>\n

The cache is up there – not sure I should do this alone.<\/p><\/div>\n

Once I left here I headed back to the main road. I came across some nice Teddy bear cactus or Cholla.<\/p>\n

Nest up was the PLR 1<\/a> cache series<\/p><\/div>\n

Great road for the most part. Had some questionable washes for cars, but the Escape had no problems.
\nThe PLR series are the best maintained series I have come across. My hats off to SKPGeocachers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For some reason my PQ didn’t download the end of the series.<\/p>\n

I headed to Old Yuma Road next where I ran into a old couple caching who wanted to have nothing to do with me . Wouldn’t even say hi.<\/p>\n

Once this was completed I headed into Quarzsite to do a Virtual cache called Hi Jolly<\/a>. It is a National Historic Landmark.
\nThis is a reason why Virtual need to be brought back.<\/p>\n

I left here and headed for Laughlin and didn’t do another cache.\u00a0 I managed 39\/40 caches today.<\/p>\n

I will say this now I had not planned to come back this way but on the way down I left my jacket in Harrah’s in Laughlin. I needed to get it back so my trip changed.<\/p>\n

Ate in the Buffet here tonight and was pleasantry surprised.<\/p>\n

Oh yes not bad for $19 a night eh.<\/p>\n
